Burglary at PV10

The CCTV specialist from Eita power is trying to look for the culprit from the recording in the burglary that occurred at Blk B. They had narrowed down the suspect. It was already established that they used a valid access card to enter the lift lobby. There is a great possibility that it is an inside job. Once we have the right info, it will be passed to the police to carry out an investigation.
Goodnight and have a nice day.

  1. Mr, See

Thank you for the info. I hope the culprit will be caught soon. Also i hope in future whatever happened in PV10, the resident should know first hand from the JMC or in form of a notice at the board. We don't want to be kept in the dark and only hear inaccurate rumors from mouth to mouth.

    Good job. Thanks.

  2. See,
Condominium burglary is always done by a insider who stay here. I heard many cases around cheras area like those at Tasik permaisuri area ,where one of my friends is the victim. These cold blooded animal rented the unit and serveying from time to time. They usualy start from the type of vehicle that the victim drive. From there they will find out how rich they are,so begin to search the unit. Once they got the unit, they will spy when will they be in and out. So once they are not around, they will break in especially in day time or raining day, where no one will easily alerted. It normally happen to new condominium, even in highend condo such as Mont kiara.
I advise to all owners, pls get to know your neighbours more closely and be cooperative when we feel somethings going wrong.
For all owner, please don't simply rent out especially single /foreigner/.U get your gd rental money,we all who own and stay in PV10 become the victim.

  3. Dear See,

i feel sorry for the victim but whatever being done cannot be undone. What is important to residents now is to know how the thief gained access into the unit, through front door, balcony or windows, so as we can take neccesary preventive measures to counter it. We should also find ways and means to enhance the effectiveness of CCTV to deter thieves from repeating their sinful act. Plis provide us the detailed report pertaining to the incident.

  4. Dear See,

we should know how they enter to the house so that we can prevent it happen again. That thief having access card or not, thats not important, coz they always follow resident entering the condo. There is l time i dont allow them to go in but end out scolding and shout by them, and i very sure that they are not 1 of the owner of the condo. If not mistake this is not the 1st time happen burglary, maybe can increase the patrol sequence in every floor and ask the guard take more attention to reno in progress
houses or moving in out houses.

  6. Hi all,

thieves are smart nowadays. They can easily outwit the CCTV specialist. If they had done a dirty job at certain level, they won't make their exit via the lift at the same floor. They either move up or down a few levels by staircase b4 taking the lift. I did encounter a worker of a renovator working in ground floor coming down
from the level (may be many levels) above and out of sight at lower level of mine. When i arrived at the ground floor lobby, i met him again. I reluctantly helped him to make his exit thru the lobby door as he didn't hv access card. I hope our CCTV specialist and mgt guys are intelligent enough to look into all the angles to nab the culprit based on CCTV records.

  7. This is good example that the security guards are useless and hopeless. That is the price we pay for hiring a cheap chicken brand security company. Let's pay more attention into this. We should not compromise on the quality of security. Let's teach them who is their employer.

  8. Hi Mr See and JMC committee members,

Why there is no conclusion on whether the culprit has been found or not? Also, maybe someone who is familiar the whole background history of the break-in happened, can briefly explain on the whole incident and what should we beware of when we are not at home? These few days, been really worried that this incident will happen to me as I am living alone. So I do hope the committee can summarize the outcome from this break-in and give advice to all of us.

Thanks a lot and waiting for reply soon.

  9. I can just say it that my unit was 1 of the 1st unit of break in case in PV10.

Let me say something, I really think that this cases happens by internal work (Informer) & outsiders. Why I say so.....

When break in case happen to my unit, I find it quit weird as usually my wife is a housewife & always be at home. On that particular day I ask my wife to follow me to the bank around 11.30am & comes back around 12.45 pm in this period this thing happens.

It came across my mind that this person saw me going out with my whole family at unspecific time. So.......readers should judge themself as I'm not going to pin point.

But I went down earlier to start my car & my wife did the locking of the wooden door & the grills. She only see's 1 person at that time the cleaner cleaning the corridor.

In my case they are 2 points :

    - The cleaner that saw my wife going out & she could be the "informer" & call someone that this unit is empty.

    or

    - At the guard room, may be the "informer" saw me going out with the whole family.

Now I have upgraded extra security by putting high end lock, alarm & internal CCTV in my unit itself.
