The JMC is satisfied with the work done to the wall. With the tiles, there is an upmarket touch ( image ) to the place. It is maintenance free .Hopefully, we can find another sponsor to do the rest of the area.
There shall be some owners who do not like the striking colour but then, we can't please everyone.
Goodnight and have a nice day.

  1. Dear See,

u hv a good sense of anticipation over our comment on its colour.
The chosen color is strikingly DULL and doesn't help to illuminate the surrounding. Besides, the color does not match with the existing tiles located at surau. Even kids said so.
Nevertheless, it's a value-added project and hats off to yr team.

  2. I agreed. Raymond's RIGHT! Why cant management choose another more friendly? This orange browish is pretty.... Pretty ugly!

Even my malay schoolfriends, who is also living in PV10, said it's very ugly!

But as the tiles are there, we cannot do anything! But im quite disappointed with the colour.. Its such a waste of money only!

  3. Dear owners,

As I had said, we can't please everyone. Obviously, this amy guy doesn't understand the meaning of the word "sponsor".

  5. Dear See / blog participants,

it's an excellent idea to embark on costless projects that are value-added. We should encourage all the participants of this blog, residents as well as management to put on their thinking caps to contribute constructive ideas in alignment to the above-mentioned concept. If we succeeded in doing so, we all are the eventual winners. I know it's tough to achieve the expected results, but it's not an impossible mission.

  6. Dear See,

is the tiling work for the initial phase completed when u took these photo? The borders of the tiling seem untidy, poor finishing touches. Need some paint-work to touch up.
All the contractors being entrusted with our future work contracts must show their good workmanship as well as excellent entrepreneurship in providing us quality work devoid of any elements of shoddiness. Otherwise, we shouldn't engage them the 2nd time.

  8. Dear See,

while the effort in resolving cleanliness of the lower portion of the walls/pillars is still in progress, the indisciplined dwellers and illegal advertisers are now vandalising the top portion with flyers and notices. It's time to enforce a new house-rule to curb the above-mentioned problem that can devalue our properties. Meanwhile, set up more notice boards at strategical locations to accommodate the increasing need for written communication and advertisement. In short, do not tolerate vandalism.

  9. dear raymond,

the jmc shall announce a couple of proposals for the residents to ponder. from now onwards, before the jmc embarks on anything, we shall consider the input from the residents.
The cost incurred will be made known to all. Should we wish to carry any projects, we shall also invite the residents to tender for the projects . Hopefully, they can absorb a narrow profit margin in order to enable us to burden our management fund.

  10. Dear See,

i think this is so-called transparent procedures in tendering out contracts. The lowest bid with assurance of quality service, be it from residents or outsiders, to get the work contract. In the case of a tie, preference be given to residents. We must not entertain bidders with poor service records in previous contract as bad habits die hard.

  11. Dear See,

i took a closer look on the flyer pasted on a pillar located in front of the hair saloon shop and got a shock. It's from our mgt regarding the swimming attire. Our mgt is supposed to be a role model in housekeeping issue but they are misleading others. Unscrupulous act breeds unscrupulous culture, surau committee member followed suit and put up their notices on the walls for their grand functions Many others, inclusive Ah Long, are expected to follow mgt's footstep. The situation will turn chaotic and mgt who started off the malpractice has no legitimate right to tell them off. Plis serve mgt a show cause letter on the pertinent indiscilplined issue. Meanwhile, make them run for the flyer and remove it asap.

  12. Dear See,

temporary notices in the form of rough paper pasted on walls/pillars/access doors for notification and direction guidance purposes should be immediately replaced with plastic one to reflect our professionalism in respect of good housekeeping. The change will not cost us much but will hv a lasting good impression on our condo image.

  13. dear raymond,

I was aslo not happy with the notices pasted on the pillars. we shall tell the management to remove them. before the JMC was formed, we saw all kinds of notices pasted at the guardhouse. we gave strict instruction to the guards to remove them. Today, you don't see any notices at the guardhouse. Notices should only be on the notice boards. it's onus on the part of the residents to make it a habit to seek new infos at the notice baords.

  15. Dear See,

thks for making the the first step in the correct direction regarding vandalism. Normally the first step of any undertakings is the toughest. Thereafter, everything will be plain sailing. Lets follow up with monitoring and self-auditing to ensure instruction is being properly carried out and subsequent enforcement is impeccable. Good to assign individual committee members for specific monitoring and self-auditing tasks. Progress reports should be submitted in regularly for JMC's review to determine the next course of actions. Success is eventually ours if we engage systematic approach in all our undertakings.

  16. Dear See,

still seeing numerous notices pasting on the walls located at level 0/1//2. Need to understand why mgt failed to comply with yr instruction. The non-compliance is amounting to insubordination. Disciplinary action must be taken immediately.
