Further improvements done to PV10

If you notice the above pictures, the sticks are much longer now. This is to prevent the residents from straying into the entrance or the exits which may pose a dager to themselves. All the ugly ribbons are already gone. The entrance and the exit look much better and reflect the image of our condo with all the potted plants around.

We are not only concerned with what is happening inside. The management led by Ms Lena Lim should be complimented for taking the initiative to speak to the developer to take action to prevent drivers from parking their cars around the corner at no cost to us. Actually the same thing should be done for the opposite corner. The JMC will propose to PVPMSB to do the same for the opposite corner.
We are actually continuosly striving to bring further improvements to our properties. Rome is not built in one day. Please give us time.
Goodnight and have a nice day.

  1. hallo mr see..yeah i agree with u there is some improvement...the stick much longer better but the bar u plant at the road actually make he width of the road much shorter...wonder why?it is becoz people still waiting that area...the guard is helpless...they cant do anything...
perhaps u should widen the road at the specific location...its hard to monitor this stubborn people

  2. hai Kay,

I really don't know which part of the road you mentioned. Perhaps you were talking about the steel bars that the management planted. Yes it narrowed down the road but it helped to prevent people from parking there which may worsen the situation. We shall try to get the guards to prevent people from parking right beside the steel bars in front of the guardhouse. Thank you for your input. widening the road is out of our jurisdiction, moreover, we don't have the fund to do it.
Just hope that you are satisfied with my explanation. TQ

  4. I have a little complain about our security guards.

    1. My friends came visit me yesterday, he told me the guard could not speak even simple Malay or English.
    2. Entrance control of each block. As we all know, we are using access card to enter our condo. But i still saw some of the people waiting (either inside/outside) for other residents to "open the door" for them while the guards did nothing. I think the guard should have a strict security check on them or at least write down their name/IC. No improvement have been done since few months ago.
    3. Swimming pool: i still can see many people swimming without wearing swimming suit.
    4. They should be strict to the strangers and friendly to the residents. I dont mind if they strict to me(I am a resident that seldom stay in PV10, thus they dont recognize me).
    5. The guard house has any phone number for the residents to call in case we found any stranger in our condo?

  5. what actually happen, now people are still parking there...even infront of the guard house...before this guard use the whistle to move them away..but now it seem they dont use that method..dont know why?i think the whitsle help to ease this matter..maybe allowing them to wait about ten minutes b4 make them move is the best option..in front of the gate there should not any car waiting...we should ask the guard to be more stringent..
further more now they are allowing people in and out easily.. i witness it we some of other owner during blackout..they even dont take the pass...the guard say they dont have manpower because many of the guard quit the job..guess why..they said the guard company pay them each month late...every 12th each month..i hope its not because of we pay them late...

  6. i agree with u mr foo..its annoying about the entrance to each block..there should be a mecanism...i suggest each guess should register themselves at the guard house and we provide the temporary acess card to enter..they sould leaves at least driving licesnce/take their name and particular with the owner name that they want to go...it helps to stringent and make the culprit feel that this condo are hard to break in...
one thing..it is annoying that the door can be hold...we should make the door like the fire door..always close...

  8. In that case it's pretty good to know our security guard can be so responsive. On the other hand, just can't help noticing a small increase of Africans here. While some of them are really students here, i do see a few loitering day in and night out. I really hope they are not our new problem soon.

  9. Mr See,

i don't think narrowing the road by planting steel bars is the best solution for the illegal
parking problem. Is it possible to designate
the affected stretch of road "no parking" zone
with appropriate visual traffic control system?
    Plis advise.

  10. the road is out of our jurisdiction. it is maintained by dbkl. another solution is to apply to dbkl to turn the whole strech into one way.

  12. dear kay,
we had always highlighted the issue to the guards pertaining to the cars which park in front of the guardhouse. we had also encouraged to them to use the whistles to enforce the house rules be it at the swimming pool or anywhere.
TQ for bringing up the issue again

  13. Just now, when i wanted to go into the condo lobby, i saw a group of people waiting for "someone" open the door for them again.
"Surprisingly", the guard asked me to open the door for them....

I hope JMC can escalate this issue to the security team leader.

    Thank you.

  14. yeah it is ridiculous...one suggestion..maybe guard should take their name with ic no first b4 allowing them to enter...the guard write it and see the ic not the other way around...maybe management can provide the guard the access card..
one thing i think the door spring should be change like at the 1st and 2nf floor lift..it is to prevent the resident to open it without closing it..

  15. Dear Kay,

this is a transition period for security services. the services of the present company has been terminated. that is why you see some dump guards being dumped to our place.

The new company will take over in the 1st. Feb 2009.
